What We Are Looking For:
Dickten Masch is a thermoplastics and thermoset molder on a strong growth track. As part of this growth, we are looking to add a dynamic individual to fill our Marketing Communications Summer Internship. Hours for this position will be approximately 20-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field. We are looking for someone with an upbeat personality who will work directly with the VP of Market & Business Development on development and execution of the marketing communication tools supporting the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding strategic marketing communication planning. Ensure consistent application of strategy to all tactics.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing communication tools which include but are not limited to;
- Website
- Presentations
- Webinars
- Photography
- Video
- Case Studies
- White Papers
- Ads
- Tradeshow preparation and set up
- Develop strategy
- Prepare photos, secure samples
- Determine appropriate giveaways
- Coordinate with contract resources to ensure we meet budgets and timelines
- Develop and maintain online media library
- Provide updates to social media sites:
- Facebook
- Linkedin
- Work with Account Manager and Business Development on presentations
Qualifications:
- Creatively oriented undergraduate degree preferred or 1-3 years of commiserate experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines with a willingness to learn
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, SharePoint and website development a plus
- Proficient at planning, organization, goal setting and execution with minimal direction once objectives have been established
- Highly organized, team approach to work
- High energy, proactive effort to make DMP successful
- Effective verbal and written communication including writing reports, developing presentation and clearly communicating via email and phone
